Non-Refundable Deposit:
A non-refundable $500 deposit is required upon enrollment to secure your spot. This deposit covers standard cancellation policies, travel warning cancellations, and administrative processing by Land and See Tours LLC.

Enrolling on a Tour:
Travelers wishing to enroll must do so at least 115 days before departure. Enrollment requires complete contact information, including first, middle, and last name (as shown on the passport), gender, birthdate, address, valid email address, and payment arrangement coordination.

COVID-19 Requirements:
Travelers are solely responsible for meeting COVID-19 entry requirements for both their destination and home country. Land and See Tours will not be liable if a traveler fails to meet these requirements. In cases where documentation cannot be provided, the traveler assumes full financial responsibility for any resulting fees, including (but not limited to) testing, quarantine costs, medical fees, alternate travel arrangements, COVID-19-related penalties, and tour reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy:
Land and See Tours secures reservations with various vendors on behalf of each traveler well in advance, including for airfare, accommodations, transportation, and group admissions. To cover the costs of these deposits, the following cancellation policy applies. Only the traveler or their legal guardian may submit a cancellation notice. To be eligible for refunds per this policy, all payments must be received on time. The effective cancellation date is the date Land and See Tours LLC receives written notification.

  • 331 days or more prior to departure:
If you cancel 331 days or more before departure, you will receive a refund for the full amount paid toward the tour balance, excluding the $500 non-refundable deposit, any other non-refundable fees, and 10% of the program price.

  • 330–150 days prior to departure:
Cancellations made between 330 and 150 days before departure qualify for a full refund, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit, all non-refundable fees, and 20% of the program price.

  • 149–91 days prior to departure:
Cancellations made between 149 and 91 days prior to departure qualify for a full refund, less the $500 non-refundable deposit, all non-refundable fees, and a 30% deduction from the program price to account for costs incurred on your behalf.

  • 90 days or fewer to departure:
Cancellations made within 90 days of departure are ineligible for a refund due to the significant arrangements and commitments already made to ensure your travel experience.

Tour Cancellation/Modification:
In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Land and See Tours LLC, the company reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the tour as necessary. If Land and See Tours LLC must cancel or postpone a tour due to unforeseen events outside its control, travelers will not be subject to the standard cancellation policy. Instead, they will have the option to receive either a refund of all fees paid, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit and any other non-refundable fees, or a travel voucher (also minus the $500 non-refundable deposit) to be applied toward a future Land and See Tours trip. This voucher will be valid for two years from the date of cancellation. Events outside reasonable control include, but are not limited to, severe weather, acts of terrorism or violence, and political, social, economic, or medical instability in the host country.

Switching Tours:
If a traveler wishes to switch from one tour to another, they will forfeit their $500 non-refundable deposit and any other non-refundable fees. However, there will be no additional penalty for switching tours if the request is made at least 331 days before the original tour's departure. For tour change requests submitted within 330 days of the original departure, a penalty may apply as a percentage of the program price, according to the cancellation policy and at the discretion of Land and See Tours LLC. All tour switch requests must be submitted in writing.

Custom Tour Planning:
Custom tours are available for clients who complete a complimentary trip consultation, agree to the terms and conditions, and pay a $500 non-refundable planning fee. Each custom tour includes up to three itinerary modifications during the initial planning phase. Airfare costs must be paid upfront and cannot be included in a payment plan. For those on a payment plan, the final balance must be paid in full at least 90 days before departure.

Custom Tour Cancellation/Modification:
Custom tours allow for up to three itinerary modifications within the initial planning window. After flights have been booked, if a traveler cancels or modifies the tour, the Land and See Tours cancellation policy will apply. If a traveler requests to postpone or reschedule a custom tour, the new tour must be completed within the same calendar year as the original, and any applicable price adjustments will be the traveler’s responsibility. Flights are non-refundable, but in some cases, airfare vouchers may be issued at the airline’s discretion.

Service Refusal Clause:
Land and See Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any traveler who exhibits hostile or abusive behavior or fails to adhere to the terms and conditions of this agreement. This includes disrespectful communication, threats, harassment, or any other disrespectful actions toward staff, other travelers, travel professionals, or property. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all participants; violations of this policy may result in immediate termination of services without notice or refund.

Payment Information:
Travelers may choose from several payment options, including automatic debit, manual installments by cash or check, or full payment at enrollment. Note: a 3% service charge applies to credit/debit card payments. Travelers must acknowledge agreement to the terms and conditions prior to enrollment by signing electronically, selecting "I agree to terms and conditions" on the online form, or providing verbal authorization.

Automatic Debit:
Travelers opting for the automatic debit plan can set up their account through the tour website or by completing an enrollment application. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at enrollment, paid via credit/debit card or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically drafted in equal monthly installments until 35 days prior to departure. Please note that a 3% fee applies to credit/debit card transactions. Travelers not eligible for automatic debit must select a manual payment plan or pay in full at least 115 days before departure. The account becomes active only after the $500 non-refundable deposit and signed agreement are received.

Travelers can choose a draft date between the 1st and 25th of each month; drafts may occur up to three days after the scheduled date due to weekends or holidays. The automatic draft amount may change if tour items exceeding $20 are added or removed. If an item is added after the final payment date, payment for that item is due immediately. Travelers wishing to switch from automatic to manual payment will incur a one-time $50 fee.

Manual Payment:
Travelers opting for the manual payment plan must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit and, if desired, the cost of travel insurance upon enrollment. An additional $500 payment is due 30 days after enrollment, followed by another $500 payment 90 days later. Seventy-five percent of the remaining balance is due 115 days before departure, and the final balance must be paid in full 90 days prior to departure. Travelers may pay by credit/debit card (with a 3% service fee), bank transfer, cash, or check. Payments are not automatically deducted, and it is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure timely payments. A $100 late fee will be charged for any delayed payments, which are non-refundable. Each returned or declined payment will incur a non-refundable $35 fee. Travelers are responsible for keeping up with payment schedules, even if an invoice is not received. All payment deadlines refer to the date by which Land and See Tours LLC must receive each payment. If any payment is overdue by 30 days (or 15 days after the final payment due date), Land and See Tours LLC reserves the right to cancel the traveler’s reservation.

Pay in Full:
Full payment is due at the time of enrollment, with $500 of the tour price being non-refundable.

Late/Declined Payments:
If a payment is returned or declined, a non-refundable $35 fee will be charged to the traveler’s account. Land and See Tours reserves the right to remove travelers from the payment plan if two consecutive payments are returned or declined, in which case the traveler will be subject to the standard cancellation policy. If the final payment is declined, the traveler will be automatically withdrawn from the plan, and the tour cancellation policy will apply.

Name Changes on Tickets:
If a traveler provides an incorrect name or needs a name change within 115 days of the tour, they will incur a minimum fee of $200, as charged by the airline, for issuing a new ticket. This may also result in a different flight from the rest of the tour group. Travelers who have not yet obtained a passport must provide their legal name and birthdate as listed on a legal document, such as a birth certificate or driver’s license.

Late Enrollments:
For enrollments made within 115 days of departure, the full tour price is due upon enrollment, plus a $200 late enrollment fee. Late enrollments will be placed on a waiting list until it can be confirmed that there is space on the tour. If space cannot be accommodated, the traveler may receive a full refund or arrange their own flights and pay for only the tour portion (subject to availability).

Passports and Visas:
It is each traveler’s responsibility to secure their passport and visa documents before departure. Travelers who do not obtain these documents will be unable to participate in the tour, and the standard cancellation policy will apply. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the tour end date. Non-U.S. citizens are responsible for ensuring they meet any specific entry requirements set by their home country or embassy.

Travel Insurance:
Travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase optional travel insurance from third-party providers for added protection. This insurance will cover the official tour portions and should be purchased independently by the traveler within 14 days of enrollment from a provider like InsureMyTrip or another of their choice. Land and See Tours recommends a “cancel for any reason” policy, as it provides the most comprehensive protection for travelers.

Flights:
Land and See Tours LLC will make every effort to secure the most direct flights available. However, due to factors such as date and availability, flights may not always be non-stop. Travelers should be prepared for the possibility of overnight flights, early morning departures, layovers, bus transfers, or separate flights for group members. If a traveler is dissatisfied with their flight options, the standard cancellation policy applies. Seat assignments will be determined at check-in and cannot be reserved in advance. Travelers must complete all segments of their flight itinerary, as failure to do so may result in cancellation of the remaining portions. Land and See Tours LLC is not responsible for changes to flight schedules, mechanical issues, weather delays, or capacity-related disruptions. Travelers under 18 must fly with the group unless accompanied by an adult or with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Optional Activities:
Additional optional excursions, not listed on the itinerary, may be available during the tour. These excursions, along with any associated transportation, will be at the traveler’s expense.

Rooming:
Adult travelers will be assigned rooms with twin or double beds (as available), paired with travelers of the same gender unless a specific roommate is requested. Requests for double beds must be made at least 115 days prior to departure. Adults desiring single accommodations will need to pay the single room supplement as required by the hotel. Family rooms, which accommodate up to 3 travelers, may be requested no later than 115 days prior to departure. Rooming and bed requests are subject to hotel availability.

Traveler Flexibility:
Land and See Tours LLC asks travelers to maintain flexibility, as itinerary modifications may be necessary to ensure the best possible experience. Changes may include alternate airports, adjustments in the length of stay, or reordering of itinerary items. Land and See Tours LLC will make every effort to replace any missed items with an excursion of equal value. If a replacement is not feasible, a refund for that item will be provided at the tour's conclusion. Travelers who choose not to participate in a scheduled activity will not be entitled to a refund for that portion of the itinerary.

Tour Length:
The tour officially begins upon departure from the designated airport and ends upon arrival at the return airport. For travelers arranging their own flights, the tour begins upon arrival at the first hotel and ends upon departure from the final hotel.

Lost Property:
Land and See Tours LLC is not liable for any lost personal belongings, including passports, tickets, luggage, or other personal items. If any items are lost, the traveler is solely responsible for replacement and for meeting any requirements necessary to do so.

Terms and Provisions:
These terms and conditions supersede any prior warranties, representations, or agreements unless expressly stated in a written addendum or letter signed by a Land and See Tours LLC representative. Land and See Tours LLC is not responsible for typographical or printing errors, including pricing errors.

  3. ____ Without limitation, Land and See Tours LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience due to acts of God, government, war, civil unrest, labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities, overbooking, defective conditions in lodging, transportation issues, or other matters beyond the control of Land and See Tours LLC.

  4. ____ I agree to release Land and See Tours LLC, its representatives, my tour designer, tour leader, guides, bus drivers, and any others involved in the tour from any claims related to my participation, including negligence, breach of contract, or other legal claims. 5. ____ I understand that international travel can involve risks not typically encountered in the United States, including but not limited to natural forces, varying health standards, infrastructure issues, and civil or political instability. I assume all risks and agree to review specific destination risks through resources such as the CDC and the U.S. State Department.

  6. ____ I agree to release Land and See Tours LLC from liability for any necessary tour modifications, delays, or cancellations due to unforeseeable events beyond their control.

  7. ____ I agree that this release applies to me, my minor child (if applicable), and my representatives, heirs, and family.

  8. ____ Land and See Tours LLC is not responsible for me when I am absent from scheduled activities or during non-supervised periods, such as optional activities or personal visits.

  13. ____ I agree to follow all local laws while abroad. If I disobey such laws, intentionally or unintentionally, I waive my right to a refund, and I may be sent home at my own expense. If local authorities become involved, I will be subject to local laws.

  14. ____ If I become ill or incapacitated, Land and See Tours LLC, my group leader, or their employees may take any actions necessary for my safety, including notifying emergency contacts or securing medical treatment at my expense.

  15. ____ I understand that I have chosen to travel with the teacher/group leader organizing my group, who can make decisions on my behalf, such as changing tour dates. If the group leader cancels, a new leader may be assigned. If I choose to cancel at that point, standard cancellation policies apply.

  17. ____ This agreement is governed by Georgia law. Any disputes will be resolved in Georgia courts or the U.S. District Court for Georgia.

  18. ____ Land and See Tours LLC may use my image and comments for promotional purposes without compensation and may use my contact information for future promotions.

Limited Power of Attorney:
For parents/guardians of travelers under 18: This limited power of attorney allows the group leader to sign releases or agreements on behalf of the minor traveler if needed. This authority is voluntary, and without it, the minor may not be able to participate in certain activities.

  1. ____ I understand and agree that my child is voluntarily participating in activities with my permission, and we assume all associated risks.

  • Illegal activities will result in immediate dismissal, and any associated costs for return travel are the traveler’s responsibility.

  • Any damages to hotel rooms or buses are the traveler’s responsibility. Notify the tour leader of any pre-existing damage upon arrival.
